Eco-Friendly Stains and Finishes

We use SafeCoat DuroStain for all our exposed wood finishes. DuroStain enhances fine wood with seven beautiful tones made with special earth-based pigments for superior vibrancy and clarity of color. Unlike most commonly available stains, DuroStain contains no coal tar, analine dyes, gilsonite, waxes or aromatic solvents.
We then apply several coats of SafeCoat Acrylacq Satin Finish Lacquer, a clear water-based replacement for high solvent content lacquers. It provides a hard and durable finish with superior resistance to wear.
